The course is bordered all around by Pine Lake State Park. It was cut out of thick woods and has narrow fairways and lots of challenges from trees and hills. The greens vary in size and contour. Many are small but easy to hold during most of the summer. Fairway watering makes the course well-conditioned throughout the entire summer.
Men and women share the same set of tees.
Par for the course is 35. The course plays to 2,696 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 4, a par-5 that plays to 438 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 8, a par-3 that plays to 115 yards from the back tees.
